鑲牙技師對(duì)患者進(jìn)行檢查并設(shè)計(jì)，建造和修復(fù)活動(dòng)義齒。大多數(shù)鑲牙技師從事私人鑲牙工作。

Denturists examine patients and design, construct and repair removable dentures. Most denturists work in private practice.

## 3221 鑲牙技師主要職責(zé) Main duties- Immiknow NOC

鑲牙技師執(zhí)行部分或全部下列職責(zé)：Denturists perform some or all of the following duties:

* 測(cè)量患者下頜，以確定所需假牙的大小和形狀
Measure patients' jaws to determine size and shape of dentures required

* 制作患者的牙齒，牙齦和顎印跡壓痕
Make impressions of patients' teeth, gums and jaws

* 設(shè)計(jì)和建構(gòu)假牙或指導(dǎo)其他工人建構(gòu)假牙
Design and construct dentures or direct other workers to construct dentures

* 插入，調(diào)試和修改新安假牙
Insert, fit and modify new dentures

* 修理假牙
Repair dentures

Reline, rebase and adjust dentures

* 要求完成兩年或三年制(牙托技師對(duì)假牙的)鑲制/義齒學(xué)大專課程。
Completion of a two- or three-year college program in denturism/denturology is required.

* 可能需要在注冊(cè)假牙診所進(jìn)行實(shí)習(xí)。
An internship in a registered denture clinic may be required.

* 要求取得省或地區(qū)監(jiān)管機(jī)構(gòu)的許可執(zhí)照。
Licensing by a provincial or territorial regulatory body is required.
