Medical laboratory technicians conduct routine medical laboratory tests and set up, clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment. Pathologists' assistants assist at autopsies and examinations of surgical specimens or perform autopsies under a pathologist's supervision. They are usually employed in hospitals and universities.
