有些人是不允許登陸加拿大的，這些人被稱為“inadmissible”。
不允許登陸加拿大的原因有很多，例如：
1. you are a security risk 有安全風險
2. you have committed human or international rights violations 侵犯人權(quán)或者國際人權(quán)
3. you have been convicted of a crime, or you have committed an act outside Canada that would be a crime 犯罪
4. you have ties to organized crime 與犯罪組織有關(guān)系
5. you have a serious health problem 嚴重的健康問題
6. you have a serious financial problem 財政問題
7. you lied in your application or in an interview 遞交虛假材料
8. you do not meet the conditions in Canada’s immigration law 不滿足加拿大法律法規(guī)
9. one of your family members is not allowed into Canada 家庭成員不允許登陸加拿大
通常情況，有以上其一的都不允許登陸加拿大。如果申請人有某種特殊情況并且持有有效的解釋申請登陸加拿大，移民局將批復你一個臨時簽證。
如果申請人由于醉酒或吸毒駕駛被定罪將被認為是不允許登陸加拿大的。但是2012年3月1日起，申請人可以申請一次臨時簽證（無需200加幣的申請費）。
