在2017年，加拿大BC省發(fā)布了這個項目，意在吸引高級技術(shù)人才，緩解BC省技術(shù)人才供不應(yīng)求的狀態(tài)。
BC省省提名技術(shù)試點項目，英文簡寫為BC PNP Tech Pilot,允許32個職業(yè)的申請人申請，申請時需滿足有一個BC省的公司的雇傭合同（Employment offer）, 同時還需滿足BC省技術(shù)移民省提名的要求，及BC省EE快速通道申請要求（Express Entry BC categories）.
加拿大移民政策——BC省省提名技術(shù)試點項目的申請流程如下：
1. 申請人與BC省公司簽訂雇傭合同；
2. 申請人在BC省技術(shù)移民系統(tǒng)中注冊，注冊后會得到一個注冊分數(shù)，注冊過程免費；
3. 每周BC省省提名會撈取一次，分高者會受到邀請；在2018年4月11日，邀請了27名申請人，邀請分數(shù)如下：

4. 受到邀請后，在30天內(nèi)，遞交完整的在線申請，申請費為700加幣。
5. BC省批復(fù)后，會受到提名信，之后可申請永久簽證，即加拿大綠卡。收到提名的申請人，還會得到一封工作許可支持信，可以允許他們申請工作許可，或者更新工作許可，然后到加拿大公司處工作。
